We Print Apparel That Speaks Your Brand
Custom Screen Printing Services USA
At DesignTo Clothing, our custom screen printing services deliver bold, durable, and production-ready prints for apparel brands of all sizes. Whether you are launching a streetwear label, outfitting a team, or scaling an established clothing line, we handle screen printing as part of your full production workflow — not as a standalone print shop.
We combine high-opacity inks, precise color matching, and multi-layer printing techniques to produce vibrant, wash-resistant results across a range of garment types and fabric weights.

Screen Printing Methods We Offer
Not every design calls for the same printing approach. We match the technique to your artwork, fabric, and production goals to get the best result for your garment.
Spot Color Screen Printing
The most cost-effective method for bold graphics, logos, and text. Each color is printed using a separate screen, building the image layer by layer. Produces sharp, vibrant results with clean edges.
Halftone & Simulated Process
For designs that require gradients, shading, or photographic detail. Complex artwork is broken into printable dot patterns that create smooth color transitions — without needing full CMYK.
Discharge Printing
Removes the fabric dye and replaces it with your ink color. The print sits within the fabric rather than on top, creating a soft, no-hand-feel finish that is breathable and comfortable.
Water-Based Printing
Water-based inks soak into the fabric instead of sitting on the surface, producing a lightweight print with a natural hand feel. This is the most environmentally friendly screen printing option we offer.
Plastisol Printing
The industry standard for screen printing. Plastisol sits on top of the fabric, producing bright, opaque colors on both light and dark garments. Extremely durable and vibrant through repeated washing — the go-to choice for bulk orders, team uniforms, and promotional apparel.

Our Screen Printing Process
Every screen printing order follows a structured workflow designed for accuracy, color consistency, and production efficiency.
Artwork Review & Color Separation
Send us your design — vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) work best, but we also accept high-resolution raster files. Our team reviews the artwork, confirms print dimensions, and separates the colors for screen preparation. If your file needs adjustments, we handle that before moving forward.
Screen Setup & Ink Matching
We prepare individual screens for each color in your design. Ink colors are mixed to match your brand's Pantone references or approved color samples. For private label orders, we ensure your print colors are consistent with the rest of your branding — labels, packaging, and hang tags.
Test Print & Approval
Before running the full order, we produce test prints on the actual garment fabric to confirm placement, color accuracy, and adhesion. You review and approve before bulk production begins. This step prevents costly errors and ensures the finished product matches your expectations.
Production Printing
Once approved, we run the full order. Each garment is printed, flash-cured or heat-cured depending on the ink type, and inspected for print quality. Our process maintains consistency from the first unit to the last — whether you are ordering 30 pieces or 3,000.
Curing, Quality Check & Finishing
Every printed garment goes through a controlled curing process to lock in the ink and ensure wash durability. After curing, each piece is checked for print alignment, color accuracy, and defects before moving to packaging and shipment.
Screen Printing vs. Other Decoration Methods
Choosing the right print method depends on your design, fabric, order size, and budget. Here is how screen printing compares to the other decoration options we offer.
vs. Embroidery
Screen printing is better for large, detailed, or multi-color graphics. Embroidery is better for small logos, text, and designs where a textured, premium finish matters — like caps, polos, and chest logos.
vs. Sublimation
Screen printing works on cotton and dark fabrics. Sublimation printing produces all-over, edge-to-edge prints but only works on white or light-colored polyester. If you want full-coverage graphics on polyester, sublimation is the stronger choice.
vs. DTG
Screen printing is more cost-effective at higher volumes and produces more vibrant colors on dark fabrics. DTG is better for very small runs (under 20 pieces) or designs with many colors, but per-unit cost is higher and durability can be lower.
Why Brands Choose DesignTo Clothing for Screen Printing
We are not a print-on-demand shop or a quick-turn local printer. Our screen printing services are built into a full apparel manufacturing workflow — meaning your printed garments are produced, finished, labeled, and packaged under one roof.
