We Craft Leather Goods That Define Your Brand
Custom Leather Goods Manufacturer
Custom Leather Goods Manufacturing
At DesignTo Clothing, we manufacture custom leather goods built entirely from your specifications — from material selection and hardware through construction, branding, and premium packaging. Every product is designed to reflect your brand identity and built to last.
Leather goods require a level of precision and material knowledge that sets them apart from standard apparel production. The leather type, tanning process, edge finishing, stitching method, and hardware quality all define the final product. We manage every detail of this process so your brand delivers products that look and feel premium from the first unit.
Our minimum order starts at 30 units per style and color, making custom leather production accessible for emerging accessory brands and established labels expanding their product line.

Leather Types and Materials
The material defines the product. We work with a range of leather types to match your brand positioning, product category, and budget.
Full Grain Leather
The highest quality available. Retains the complete natural surface of the hide including natural markings. Develops a rich patina over time. Most durable option for luxury bags and premium wallets.
Top Grain Leather
Outer layer of the hide, sanded and finished for a uniform appearance. Slightly thinner and more flexible than full grain. Clean, consistent surface at a lower price. The most common choice for mid-to-premium products.
Genuine Leather
Made from the lower layers after the top grain is removed. More affordable but less durable. Develops less character over time. Suitable for entry-level leather products and high-volume production.
Bonded Leather
Shredded leather fibers bonded with adhesive and pressed onto a backing. Most affordable but least durable. Used for budget products where cost is the primary driver.
Vegan & Faux Leather
Synthetic alternatives — PU, polyester, or plant-based materials like cork, apple leather, and cactus leather. No animal products. Wide range of textures, colors, and finishes that closely replicate real leather.
Suede & Nubuck
Suede is made from the inner surface with a soft napped finish. Nubuck from the outer surface, buffed for similar texture with greater durability. Both used where a soft, tactile finish is the priority.
Hardware and Construction Details
Hardware quality is what separates a cheap accessory from a premium product. Full customization on every component.
All hardware can be custom-branded through engraving, debossing, or custom molds. Finish options: polished brass, antique brass, brushed nickel, matte black, rose gold, gunmetal, and silver.
Construction Techniques
How a leather product is built determines its durability, feel, and perceived value.
